Navigating the holidays with toxic relatives

Learn how to navigate the holidays with people who kill your self-esteem, make you feel unworthy, or put down your dreams.

You may be looking forward to, or NOT looking forward to being in the same room with relatives, neighbors, friends or friends this holiday season. And if you have to gather with people who kill your self-esteem, make you feel unworthy or less than, or just dump on your dreams then I can imagine you are preparing to be triggered by their words, their actions (or in-actions) and just overall being in their kind of energy.

Please know that you’re not alone! I think we all know someone who can’t stand their uncle, mother-in-law, sister’s boyfriend etc….or packs a bottle or two of wine in their purse in preparation for that 3 hour dinner that’s coming up on the calendar.

Is this you?? 🍷🍷🍷

I want to share with you some things you can do to navigate those parties and get-togethers with grace and ease—so you can enjoy yourself and connect with the people you enjoy connecting with, despite the difficult person. In my “Unshakeable” audio training I share:

The different "types" of toxic relatives:

  • the critic

  • misery loves company

  • the energy vampire

  • pea green with envy

  • the manipulator

what to be aware of, how to limit your time and energy with them, and two key tips to protecting your energy when around them.

Once you adopt these 3 strategies, you’ll

  1. be more calm going into the party, and more relaxed during the days and hours leading up to it.

  2. be able to enjoy conversations with loved ones and friends who you want to visit with without allowing anger to sabotage your good time.

  3. preserve your personal confidence and leave unratteled.

You can access the training for free here.

Watch this over and over in the weeks or days leading up to your holiday events. Practice these strategies—you will grow strong as a person and more confident in your ability to walk into any room and be anchored in who you are.

Unshakeable.

And enjoying the party!

Cheers!

Love Jana
